How to get to MIT Kendall/Marriott Hotel -  UV2014 registration site

From Airport. It is free to leave from Logan airport.

1. Take subway Silver Line (Bus SL1). Logan Airport->South Station (final destination)
2. Take subway red line. South Station->Alewife. 10 min (4 stops)
3. Get off at Kendall/MIT Station

From Bus/Train Station

1. Take subway red line. South Station->Alewife. 10 min (4 stops)
2. Get off at Kendall/MIT Station

1. Get on MA-1A S 0.8 mi / 2 min
>> Head northwest 0.1 mi
>> Take the ramp to MA-1A S 0.4 mi
>> Keep right at the fork, follow signs for Massachusetts 1A S/Interstate 93 N/Sumner Tunnel and merge onto MA-1A S 0.3 mi

2. Continue on MA-1A S. Take Edwin H Land Blvd to Broadway in Cambridge 3.7 mi / 8 min
3. Merge onto MA-1A S 0.3 mi
4. Turn left to stay on MA-1A S. Toll road 1.2 mi
5. Keep right at the fork, follow signs for Massachusetts 3 N/Storrow Drive 0.7 mi
6. Keep left at the fork, follow signs for MA-28 N/Leverett Cir/N Station 0.1 mi
7. Turn right onto MA-28 N 0.3 mi

MIT Campus
  • Organized tours

Tour groups convene in Lobby 7, in the main building at 77 Massachusetts Avenue. Tours are offered at 11 am and 3 pm Monday-Friday (excluding legal holidays). Reservations are required for groups of 10 or more. Further questions about campus tours may be addressed to the Events and Information Center, 617-253-4795.

Boston and Massachusetts

Before 1660, a trip to Boston from Cambridge involved a ferry ride and an eight-mile walk. You will find it more convenient to take the T or a cab across the river, or even walk. After all, it's only 364.4 smoots and one ear.
